About the Palisades Half Marathon + 6K Trail Run
The half marathon runs along the Palisades ridge, paved the whole way, with significant climbing spread across the route. The views over the cliffs are the main event. The shorter trail run takes a rougher path across the same rocky terrain, so the two races share a setting but feel very different underfoot.
Shuttles run between uptown Manhattan and Fort Lee before and during the race, which makes getting there without a car straightforward. Bicycle parking and bag check are both available on site. Proceeds from both races go toward the Palisades Parks Conservancy and the state parks it maintains.
