About the Grace-In-Motion's 13th Annual Run for the Kids 5k/2k
The course runs through Ross Dock Picnic Area along the river, a tree-lined park setting that keeps things scenic without much in the way of technical terrain. The race benefits a charity building emergency family homes abroad, so the purpose behind it is front and center on race morning.
The park has a specific entrance to use off River Road, and the gates close before the race starts, so arriving early matters. Roads inside the park also stay closed until well after the last runners finish, keeping the course clear for walkers and runners alike.
