About the Oregon Schools Elementary Cross Country Series
This is an elementary school cross country series held at Clay High School, open to kids in kindergarten through sixth grade from the local district schools. Races are split by grade band, with the youngest kids running shorter distances and older grades running longer. Results are handled by a local running shop, which gives it a proper meet feel rather than a casual fun run.
The series runs across several evenings in the fall, and registering once puts your child in all the meets. If you miss one, no problem. Ribbons go to top finishers in each wave, and everyone who runs gets one too.
