About the LifeWise 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run / Adult Walk
The race is held at Maumee Bay State Park, close to the outdoor playground. It benefits a Bible education program that serves elementary students in the local school district, so the atmosphere skews toward families with young kids. The shorter distance is aimed at kids and walkers, while the longer route is the main race.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Hope Community Church, with morning-of pickup also available at the park. Both options are clearly planned for, so you are not rushed into picking one.
