About the Eastside Turkey Trot 5K
The course runs on city streets starting and finishing at the YMCA, and the organizers describe it as fast. There are no significant hills mentioned. A kids race goes off first, then the main event follows shortly after, so the morning has a built-in warm-up act for families with young runners.
Packet pickup happens at a local running store in the days before Thanksgiving, which keeps race morning relatively calm. There is a costume contest, which draws some creative entries around the holiday theme. Fruit and baked goods are out at the finish, along with an awards ceremony before everyone heads home to cook.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Eastside Turkey Trot 5K has been held every year since at least 2016. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
