About the Omni Turkey Trot 5K

The course winds through the grounds of a resort on Amelia Island, under a canopy of trees. It is a contained loop that starts and finishes near the resort's racquet park, so the surroundings are manicured and shaded rather than open road. A shorter untimed fun run follows the main race, and an awards ceremony wraps things up at the same spot.

Parking is right at the start. Packet pickup is available the evening before at a conference room on site, and again on race morning before the start. There is a water station on the course and another at the finish.
