About the Cannon Ball Run
The race starts and finishes at Main Beach Park, right on the oceanfront in Fernandina Beach. The shorter course covers city streets throughout. The half marathon is mostly pavement as well, but dips into Egan's Creek Greenway on a grass trail section before passing through Ft. Clinch State Park, where the route goes out past the cannons and back to the finish.
Packet pickup the day before is at a local running store in Fernandina Beach, with race-morning pickup available at the start area if needed. Parking is in the lots around Main Beach Park, with street parking in the residential area just north. There is food and drinks in the park after the race for registered participants.
