New London, NC
This is a Thanksgiving morning race in New London, run to benefit local food banks. The organizer's description doesn't say much about the course itself, but the event draws families and runs on the holiday, so expect a crowd that's there as much for the tradition as the clock. There is pumpkin pie in the spirit of the season.
