About the Jingle Bell Jaunt Fun Run

The course loops through downtown Mount Gilead, so the shorter and longer distance options share the same streets. The event is untimed and draws a mix of costumes, since holiday dress is encouraged even if not required. Awards go to the top finishers in the longer distance and to the best costume, with prizes donated by a local bookstore.

The start area is on the front lawn of a church at the corner of Main Street and Allenton Street, which also serves as the parking area. Portable restrooms are available nearby on Main Street.
