About the OktoberFest Run

The course runs through Woodward Park dressed up with scarecrows and pumpkins along the way, which gives it a seasonal character that fits the fall timing. The terrain is park running, not technical, and the decorations make it feel more like a neighborhood celebration than a race in the traditional sense.

Packet pickup is the day before at Fleet Feet on Ft. Washington and Friant Road. On race morning, the start area is in the Shinzen Group Activity Area of Woodward Park. After you finish, there is cold beer and a Bavarian pretzel waiting, which is the whole point of the Oktoberfest theme.
