About the REYES ELITE/OPEN MILE RUN & Fun 5K
The race takes place at Woodward Park in Fresno, and the course is flat and built for speed. The mile is the centerpiece, with heats for elite and open runners, but there is also a shorter run and a speed walk option for those who want something different. Kids races round out the morning.
Bib pickup runs the afternoon before the race at a separate location, with race-morning pickup available as well. After you finish, there are tacos, hot chocolate, and pan dulce at the finish area. Music plays throughout the morning, and the crowd tends to be a mix of families and competitive runners there to see fast times.
