The Fresno Turkey Trot runs through Woodward Park on Thanksgiving morning. The course has a chip-timed running option and an untimed walking route, so the crowd spans serious runners and people out for a stroll with the dog. The park setting keeps things grounded, and the proceeds go to local organizations serving people experiencing homelessness and supporting student-athletes.
