About the Oklahoma Fallen Heroes
The course runs along the OKC river trail, a road surface that follows the water through the city. Along the way, banners are posted at the start, at each mile marker, and at the finish, each one carrying a photo and a short biography of one of the fallen service members the race honors. It is a quiet, purposeful route.
The race is not sanctioned, which is worth knowing going in. Beyond that, the organizer has not shared details about packet pickup or parking, so plan to arrive with a little extra time to sort those things out on the morning.
