About the Ocala Reindeer Run

The Reindeer Run takes place in Ocala in the evening, so you are running as the light fades and the holiday decorations around downtown are fully lit. The course is a road race through the city, short enough that most people treat it as a festive outing rather than a hard effort.

Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at the Hilton Garden Inn on Silver Springs Boulevard, with race-day pickup opening a couple of hours before the start. The event kicks off with a shorter kids dash before the main race begins, so the start area is busy and loud when you arrive.
