About the OAT Run
The OAT Run follows single-track trail along Kelly Ridge, threading through forest thick with moss, ferns, and tall evergreens. One stretch opens up to a view over the Elwha River Valley, and the point-to-point and out-and-back formats mean you are not retracing the same ground the whole way. The trail runs between a national park boundary and the strait to the north.
After finishing, runners gather at Extreme Sports Park for hot burritos from a local food truck, cold drinks, and a campfire, with the Olympic Mountains visible in the background. There is a beer garden as well, with proceeds going to a local nonprofit. A shuttle handles the logistics between the start and the finish area.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
