About the Salt Creek 24

Salt Creek Recreation Area hugs the coastline, and the course loops the park on a short circuit through old-growth evergreens, thick ferns, and patches of coastal moss. Remnants of World War II fortifications appear along the way. The format is open: run or walk as much or as little as you want over the full event window, solo or as part of a relay.

A stocked aid station runs through the night, with extra treats during the harder hours. Camping is available at the park, and runners planning to stay on course continuously can stage out of a vehicle or set up a small canopy near the start area instead.
