About the NRF "Capes & Crowns" 5K Run
The course runs through downtown Beaumont on flat pavement, so there is nothing technical underfoot and pace is the only real variable. A kids fun run goes off first, then the main race follows shortly after, which gives the start area a family-heavy feel before the faster crowd lines up.
Packet pickup is available at Exygon Health and Fitness Club on Phelan Boulevard across the two days before the race, with race-morning pickup also an option if you need it. Light refreshments are out before the start, and there is a post-race celebration with food, drinks, and an awards ceremony.
