About the Newport Pride Run

The course starts and finishes at the Newport Performing Arts Center and moves through Historic Nye Beach before turning along a stretch of road with open ocean views. The route also passes the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. The terrain is coastal, so expect sea air and scenery rather than hills, and there is a kids run alongside the main event.

Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at the start area, with race-morning pickup available as well. The race benefits Newport Oregon Pride and their work with the local LGBTQ+ community, which gives the morning a specific, purposeful feel rather than just a generic local road race.
