About the New Balance RunningLane XC Championships
This is a seeded cross country championship, so the field is sorted by performance before anyone toes the line. Runners are placed into competitive heats based on their times, which means you are racing against people close to your level rather than everyone at once. The course is a dedicated cross country layout, designed to be fast underfoot.
Packet pickup runs the day before the race at a large tented area near the course, with plenty of parking. Race-morning pickup opens early but expect crowds and long lines, so the prior day is the better option. There is also a running store on site where gear and shoes are available for purchase.
