About the Never Say Die Run 5K 10K Half Marathon
The course runs out and back along the Long Beach coastline, paved path underfoot and the ocean beside you the whole way. It is flat beach-path running, open and exposed, with the water visible throughout. The theme leans hard into eighties adventure films, and the finish line has a DJ and a party atmosphere rather than a quick pack-up-and-leave energy.
The race benefits a hamster rescue, and the organization brings adoptable hamsters and educational materials to the finish area. Free race-day photos are included. The start is on the coastal boulevard, so street parking along the waterfront strip is the practical option.
