About the Hope for Vision Campaign
The walk takes place on an indoor track at Oakland University's Recreation Center, so weather is not a factor. It is a single loop, easy on all paces and ages, with a DJ playing music throughout the morning and family games running alongside the walk. Refreshments are set up for when you finish.
The event is tied to a broader weekend of gatherings organized by the Pediatric Retinal Research Foundation, and the walk itself is free to enter. Participants are encouraged to fundraise, and those who raise above a set threshold can qualify for additional recognition. The Recreation Center is on Pioneer Drive in Rochester.
