About the NASSAU COUNTY TURKEY TROT

The course runs through Eisenhower Park, a large public park in East Meadow. The route is open enough for jogging strollers, which tells you something about the terrain. Runners are encouraged to bring canned goods or dry food to donate at the start, so the morning has that kind of neighborly texture to it.

Packet pickup happens the evening before at a county location, with a second option at the park on race morning. On the day itself, parking is available near the aquatic center or by the Harry Chapin Theatre, both inside the park.
