About the LONG ISLAND MARATHON FESTIVAL
The races all run through Eisenhower Park, a large public park in East Meadow. The courses are mostly flat, set on park roads and paths, with open space on either side. The full marathon, half, and shorter distances each follow their own loops through the park, and the start and finish areas are clustered near Park Boulevard, so spectators can watch from one central spot.
The expo runs under a tent near the finish line and opens the afternoon before the main racing days, with bib pickup available then for most distances. Race-morning pickup is also offered for some events. Parking and signage inside the park guide you toward the finish line area. The race director holds open-mic sessions on the schedule to answer questions about courses and logistics.
