About the 2026 Nashville Urban Runoff 5K
The course runs through Shelby Bottoms Park and Greenway, winding past green stormwater infrastructure built into the landscape. It is a nature-forward route through a genuine urban greenway, and the start and finish are anchored near a striking silver melting bird sculpture beside Sevier Lake.
Packet pickup happens the evening before the race at the same landmark near the silver bird, with a second window on race morning before the gun goes off. The event is held rain or shine, and a water quality festival runs alongside the race.
