About the 20th Annual East Nashville Tomato 5K
This road race runs through East Nashville as the opening event of Tomato Fest weekend, so there is already a festival energy in the air before the first mile. The course is chip-timed and certified, on pavement, and stroller- and pet-friendly. Tomato-themed costumes are common enough that showing up without one can feel like the odd choice.
Packet pickup the evening before is at the Margaret Maddox Family YMCA, with race-morning pickup available at East Park before the start. After finishing, the Tomato Fest itself is already underway nearby, so most people stick around. The race benefits the YMCA and its East Nashville programs.
