About the 9th Annual Nashville, TN Ostomy 5K
The course runs through Shelby Bottoms, a large urban park along the Cumberland River east of downtown Nashville. The route loops Sevier Lake several times to complete the distance, which means you pass the same landmarks repeatedly and can track your progress. The park itself is open and green, with the feel of a nature preserve tucked inside the city.
Registration and packet pickup happen race morning at the Lakeview Picnic Shelter, so there is no need to make a separate trip the day before. Parking in the park is free and plentiful. The race benefits ostomy awareness, and participants are encouraged to wear an ostomy pouch during the run as a gesture of solidarity.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.
