About the 16th Annual Steps of Success 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
The course runs through downtown Nashville, starting near the intersection of Rep. John Lewis Way and Demonbreun Street. The route is on road, with the city skyline around you as you move. The race benefits Transformation Life Center, which runs free programs for youth, so the crowd tends to include people who know the mission and care about it.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a Fleet Feet location in Greenhills, with race-morning pickup also available at the start area. The morning schedule builds toward an awards ceremony after the race wraps.
