About the Music City Run for Dyslexia
The course runs along the Cumberland River through Shelby Bottoms Greenway, looping around a lake inside Shelby Park before returning to the Riverview Pavilion where the race starts and finishes. The path is paved and flat throughout, with the river and greenway visible for much of the route. Several distance options make it accessible to a wide range of runners.
Packet pickup runs at a local nonprofit's office inside a church on Belmont Avenue the couple of days before the race, with race-morning pickup available at the pavilion as well. Parking lots are spread around the park, so arriving with a little extra time helps.
