About the Nashville Recovery Run 5k
The course runs through Cornelia Fort Airpark, a former airfield that gives the route an open, flat character with wide sight lines and plenty of room to spread out. The race draws meaning from its cause, honoring people in recovery from Substance Use Disorder, and the atmosphere on course reflects that purpose without being somber.
Food and live music are part of the post-race scene, so there is reason to hang around after you finish. Official timing is handled by a dedicated timing company on site. Proceeds support addiction treatment and care for people in the Nashville area who need it.

The Nashville Recovery Run 5k has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
