About the Music City Juneteenth Freedom Day 5K Run/Walk
The race takes place at Fort Cornelia Airpark in the historic East Nashville neighborhood, with a DJ keeping the energy up through the whole event. The course is a standard road distance, flat enough that runners and walkers share it comfortably. The Juneteenth theme runs through everything, and the proceeds go toward local nonprofits focused on youth literacy, health, and wellness.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a Fleet Feet location on the south side of the city, with race-morning pickup available at the start site for those who cannot make the early window. The start area is at the airpark itself.
