About the Mother's Day 5k Run / Walk

The course starts downtown and winds through Ocala's Historic District before finishing at Citizens Circle, a public gathering space in the heart of the city. The route is mostly flat urban streets, with historic architecture along the way. It reads as a scenic morning run rather than a hard effort, and the finish area opens up into a plaza well suited to post-race lingering.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local running store, with race-morning pickup available on-site as well. After finishing, stick around Citizens Circle for live music and raffle drawings. Moms at the event receive a flower. Dogs are not permitted on the course, though leashed pets are welcome to watch from the sidelines.
