About the Morris Hot Cocoa 5k + 10k, December 12th, 10 am
The course runs through a park on an all-grass trail with no road crossings. Terrain is a mix of dirt, grass, and gravel with a few hills, so trail shoes are worth bringing. Check-in sits at the highest point of the park, and the finish brings hot cocoa and bundt cakes from a local bakery. Proceeds go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Fleet Feet in Morristown, with race-morning pickup available on site as well. Parking is on the grass and in large lots near the soccer fields. The start area has real restrooms alongside portable toilets.
