About the "Monster Mash Dash" Old Settlers 5K
The Monster Mash Dash runs through Jim Hogg City Park as part of the Old Settlers Reunion, so the atmosphere is more block party than race morning. Costumes are encouraged, and a contest goes to whoever shows up in the most creative getup. The course is a park route, open to runners and walkers alike.
Packet pickup and registration open early on race morning in the park. The race kicks off not long after, with the reunion festivities carrying on through the rest of the day around you.
