Anniston, AL
The race runs on Halloween morning in Anniston, which gives it a costume-friendly atmosphere without anyone forcing the point. It benefits programs focused on youth and community health in the area, so there is a charitable weight to the morning beyond the finish line. Costumes show up, but so do people just there to run.
