About the Half Naked Half Marathon

The course is an out-and-back half marathon on open roads, so you will share the pavement with traffic and need to stay aware. The roads are flat enough to run a solid time, and the out-and-back shape means you pass other runners on their way back while you are still heading out, which breaks up the miles.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Anniston Runners Club headquarters, with a banquet alongside it. Race day starts from a medical mall, where the parking lot gives you plenty of room. Awards are handed out inside the mall afterward, and overall winners stick around for a group photo.
