About the Middle Finger 5K

The Middle Finger 5K is a loop course through downtown Geneva that benefits Thrive To Survive, a local nonprofit supporting adults going through cancer treatment. Costumes and matching team outfits are common, and cancer survivors are recognized during the event. The course sits right along the Finger Lakes waterfront area, and the morning starts early enough to catch a sunrise.

The evening before the race, there is a check-in party at the Finger Lakes Welcome Center on Lakefront Drive, where local breweries and wineries offer tastings and local vendors set up shop. On race morning, parking is spread across downtown lots and street parking, all within easy walking distance of the start and finish. A pedestrian tunnel safely routes runners under the main highway to get there.
