The MaraFUNrun takes place in Land Park, where a youth fitness program marks the end of its after-school season with a community 5K. The field is mostly kids from around Sacramento, so the pace and the energy on course reflect that. Adults are welcome to run alongside them, and plenty of people come just to cheer from the sidelines.
