About the Machine Solutions Run & Walk for Kids
The course runs trails at Fort Tuthill, a county park on the edge of Flagstaff. Several distance options mean the field includes everyone from young children doing a short dash to people covering a longer stretch of trail. The terrain is what you'd expect from a Flagstaff park, ponderosa pines and elevation, with a start and finish at a ramada near the park's adventure area.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Children's Health Center, which is also the charity the race benefits. Morning pickup is available for those who can't make the pre-race window. The start area is at the Posse Ramada, just east of the adventure park lot, so parking near there is your best bet.
