About the LPRF Glow in the Park 5K
This is an evening race through Westboro/Canterbury Park, starting at the Liberty Community Center after dark. Runners are encouraged to wear glowing gear and bright colors, so the course lights up as the field moves through it. The trail setting keeps things casual, and the nighttime start gives it a character most local races do not have.
The race benefits the Liberty Parks & Rec Foundation's youth scholarship program, which helps families access parks programs and community center memberships. That connection runs through the whole event rather than sitting quietly in the background.
