About the LOPA Trail Run for Life 5K - 10K - Fun Run

The course runs through Cherokee Ridge Horse Farm, which gives the trail a character you do not find at most road races. Expect natural terrain underfoot and open space around you. The race is tied to organ and tissue donation awareness, and donor families and transplant recipients are part of the morning, so there is a weight to it that goes beyond the running.

Packet pickup is on-site the morning of the race at the farm. Strollers and pets are not allowed on the course, which is worth knowing if you planned to bring either.

Almost certainly not. Half the 3.1 Miles field finished slower than 47:03, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:21:35, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the LOPA Trail Run for Life 5K - 10K - Fun Run a good first 3.1 Miles?
