About the Long Beach Labor Day Run - Merging Forces 5K, 10K, Kids Dash
The course runs along the waterfront from near the lighthouse at Shoreline Village out onto the beach path. The ground underfoot is a mix of surfaces, and the route stays flat the whole way, with the water on one side and the village behind you. Race photos are taken on course and shared free afterward.
The start area is at Shoreline Aquatic Park, right on the water. A finish line festival with vendors and music wraps up the morning, so there is reason to stick around after you cross.
