About the Llano Estacado Wine Run 5k

The course runs through the grounds of Llano Estacado Winery, so the scenery is vineyards and open Texas landscape rather than streets or a park. The route is timed and scored, and age group awards are available for competitive runners, but plenty of people come more for the wine pour waiting at the finish than for the clock.

Packet pickup is the evening before at the winery itself, which makes for a convenient excuse to linger. Race-morning pickup opens well before the start if the night before does not work. If you are grabbing a packet for someone else, bring their QR code to keep the line moving.
