About the LCU Halloween 5K
The course runs on a college cross country layout, so expect natural terrain and a route shaped for running rather than road racing. Costumes are encouraged, and plenty of runners show up in them, which gives the whole morning a different feel than a typical race.
The event is organized by the school's student-athlete committee, so the start area has a campus energy to it. If you are planning to dress up, the cross country surface is worth keeping in mind when you choose your footwear.
