About the Lizzy's 9th Annual Walk of Faith 5K Walk/Run
The race takes place at Bethel Park in Columbia, honoring a girl named Lizzy who died of bone cancer as a child and whose final wish centered on helping other children avoid the same fate. The morning draws families and runners together around that story, with entertainers, food trucks, a coffee truck, and shaved ice on hand at the event grounds.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a Dick's Sporting Goods near campus, if you want to skip the morning line. The park itself fills up with activity well before the start, so arriving a bit early gives you time to take it all in.
