About the Do Hard Things 5k Run/Walk & 9.11-Mile Run or Ruck
The race starts at Cooper's Landing, a spot along the river outside Columbia, and the course offers a couple of distinct challenges: a shorter run-walk option and a longer route that can be run or rucked with a weighted pack you bring yourself. The event is tied to honoring first responders and veterans, with proceeds going toward a project that works to end veteran homelessness.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at Fleet Feet, with race-morning pickup available at Cooper's Landing as well. The longer distance starts earlier in the morning, so if you are rucking or running that route, plan to arrive well before the shorter event gets underway.
