About the Lindale Park Fun Run

The Freedom Dash runs along Irvington Boulevard as the opening act for the Lindale Park Parade, which follows on the same street right after. The route goes from Moody Street, loops through the neighborhood, and comes back to where it started. It is a road race that doubles as a block party warm-up, with the parade crowd already gathering as runners finish.

Parking is available at the MD Anderson YMCA and along nearby streets. The parade rolls down Irvington Boulevard immediately after the race, so there is no reason to leave once you cross the finish.
