About the Legends Spooky Trail Race
The course runs through the Ben Hawes Trail System on mostly dirt and packed trail, with rooty and rocky patches worth watching underfoot. Expect rolling hills, switchbacks, and a real climb toward the end of each loop. The route starts at an open field near a parking lot, dips into the woods, then threads through double-track sections before bringing you back around.
The race takes place in the afternoon, so you will not be racing into a morning sun. Staff and course markers are posted throughout to keep you on the right path, which helps on a winding wooded course like this one.
