About the Lanark Park Summer Night Lights 5K
The race runs through Lanark Park at night, which gives it a different feel than a typical weekend morning 5K. The park setting keeps things shaded and open, and running after dark means cooler temperatures than a midday summer event in Canoga Park would offer.
Parking is free at a Knights of Columbus hall a short walk from the park. After you finish, a nearby Chick-fil-A is part of the post-race picture, with a nugget reward for finishers who bring their bib.
