About the La Noche de las Brujas Run 5K 10K Half
This is an evening race along the Long Beach shoreline, run as the sky darkens and the moon comes up over the water. The path is flat and hugs the coast, with glowing course markers and moody lighting spaced out along the way. A DJ plays at the event area, and costumes are encouraged, mostly witches, spirits, and creatures of the night.
Registration opens in the hours before the first wave heads out. The start area sits on Ocean Boulevard at the water's edge. After finishing, there is a costume contest and age group awards on site.
