About the La Noche de La Llorona Run SummerWeen Series 5K 10K Half
This is a night race along the Long Beach shoreline, starting in the early evening and running a flat beach path. The atmosphere leans into the La Llorona legend, with fog, ambient lighting, and the ocean right beside you. Costumes are encouraged, and a DJ keeps the start area loud before the quiet of the course takes over.
Packet pickup and check-in happen at the race site on race day, ahead of the first wave. Photos are taken on course and shared afterward at no extra charge. There is a costume contest after the race, along with overall and age group awards.
